Eerie Folk from the shores of lake superior

Superior Siren is an eerie folk project from Duluth, Minnesota created in 2014 by singer-songwriter & guitarist Laura Sellner. The all-female five-piece band includes cellist Rachel Gobin, violinist Erin Aldridge, bassist Nyssa Krause, and drummer Emma Deaner. The music offers a mesmerizing expression of vulnerability & desire, with inspiration from Lake Superior and Siren mythology. Superior Siren is not for the faint of heart, and will enchant those who dare to listen. A full-length album and two solo EPs continue to lure in audiences throughout the Midwest. Their latest single “Rattlesnake” showcases the development of their haunting sound.
